Stephen and Catherine Saia are the founders of Sunset Slush - Classic Italian Ice®. Sunset Slush started vending on Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Oak Island, NC in May 2004. Sunset Slush at Ocean Isle Beach opened a shoppe in April 2008 with a walk-up window as a retail operation. Since then, there have been many Independent Operators joining the Sunset Slush family. Some have shoppes and others strictly do vending. There are over 140 Independent Operators spread out through Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virgina & West Virgina.
